Claim to Moxie’s fame: Was hired on the spot as a hostess 7 years ago because of her smile at the Bayshore location in Ottawa and since then hasn’t stopped climbing the ladder. Has worked in 3 locations in every position.
What does she like about Moxie’s? The culture of Moxie’s. Getting to work for passionate people who strive for excellence. “An amazing future for those deserving.” That I am living proof.
What do your guests like about Moxie’s? Everybody orders atmosphere and at Moxie’s we deliver. The staff is up-beat intelligent people who love their job. Guests see how much fun we all have and want to be a part of it.
What makes Moxie’s different from other restaurant jobs? The people. Being selective when hiring staff. Choosing people that will grow in our culture. Everybody gets along; we hire friends which what makes it such a fantastic place to work. Who wouldn’t to want to go to work everyday and work with people you can laugh with?
The perks? The “Run for the Sun vacation” . Concerts, hockey games, whitewater rafting, golfing, Staff parties. We all like to spend a lot of time together. I feel like I have grown up with Moxies. We are truly a family.
