Job Description:
Personal Service is what we strive to give every Moxie’s guest in both our dining rooms and lounges. However, we recognize that guests that choose to be served in our lounges are, in fact, asking to be served in a slightly more informal way – they are likely looking for that more Personal Service you often get as a regular in your favourite bar.
Our goal is to create a welcoming environment in our lounges that make every guest feel like a regular. Therefore, it is important that Moxie’s Bartenders be “heads up” extroverts. They must be the kind of people who thrive in close contact with guests. They must not be shy, gruff, “hot and cold”, etc. After all, our bartenders are the ambassadors of our Personal Service program in the same way they are the ambassadors of our lounges.
Role:
To provide our guests and servers with beverages in an efficient and consistent manner, while maintaining a positive, cooperative and upbeat attitude. The job will vary depending on the level of business. When not busy, Bartenders will serve both food and beverages in the lounge in addition to providing beverages for servers.
