Job Description:
Develop your career with Moxie's as a General Manager in the Vancouver area
Role:
Responsible for all aspects of the restaurants operation according to the policies, procedures and goals of the company.
To maximize: long-term profitability, morale and employment standards, guest satisfaction, the skills of all crew and managers within the restaurant.
Duties:
Performance Appraisals + on-going feedback from Regional Manager.
Financial results - sales, QSC, P & L statement
Leadership Skills - people development, floor management, company policies and procedures, time management, problem solving/decision making.
Personal Skills - initiative, energy level/drive, communication skills, administration skills, adaptability/flexibility, dependability/attendance, appearance/grooming.
Competencies:
Financial
Complete understanding and ability to manage financial parameters and controls for all areas of the restaurant.
Ability to analyze financial data and determine business priorities
Ability to achieve financial goals
Ability to maintain and care for the physical plant of the restaurant.
Leadership
Ability to work with and manage other people.
Ability to motivate and coach crew and junior managers to maximum effectiveness- teacher/coach.
Ability to delegate and follow-up.
Ability to train and lead other managers.
Ability to train others to: master technical skills, serve guests with enthusiasm, sell as part of the dining experience, assert authority and make judgments.
Personal
Complete knowledge of all positions and functional areas within the restaurant.
High level of organizational and communication ability.
Complete understanding and belief in company philosophy and goals of quality and improvement - Ambassador.
Ability to self motivate, maintain sense of urgency, keep momentum.
Ability to set and achieve short and long-term business goals.
Understanding of issues beyond ones control while continuing to impact areas within ones authority.
Ability to ask for help when required.
